A few weeks ago we took a trip to Angel Lake, (its about an hour away) and went fishing. It was so beautiful, you could look into the water and see all of the fish but they just wouldn't bite. So the kids decided they would go swimming instead! The water was cold but they looked like they were having fun! On the way home we stopped and got ice cream, Boomer liked it the most!
After settling our family in a little cute suburb in the South we decided to make a lifestyle change and move out west to the wide open spaces that seemed to be calling our names. We have been here for almost 3 years but are still adapting to the snow, shopping (or lack thereof), and all the other things that accompany moving from the suburbs to the country.
The Father of the home - R, enjoys working on cars, reading, watching old television shows, keeping up on his honey-d0 list, and supporting our children in their lives.
Mother - C, enjoys waking up early, cooking, sewing, listening, laughing, and enjoying the company of her children as well as beautifying the family nest.
The Eldest Daughter - A, decided to leave the nest and start her own little home with our son-in-law D. They have moved to the west coast and work, work, work. But enjoy fishing, reading, movies, and decorating. A is working on becoming a photographer and loves it. You can find the story of there life here and her photo blog here
The Second Daughter - T is in her Senior year of high school and working at the hometown pizza place. She is enjoying her photography class and her friends.
The Youngest Son - K, just started his freshman year of high school and is on the high school football team as a nose guard. He loves sports and hunting! He also is in the process of restoring a Volkswagen Beetle with his father.
The Spoiled Pet - Boomer, is our 6 year old super hyper-active Labradoodle who is enjoying spending his time outside with his toys and bones.
